Before Treatment

• Refrain from using products containing retinoids or strong ingredients for 10 days before the treatment begins.
• Avoid harsh products, loofah sponges, rough washcloths, or Clarisonic brushes during the first week.

During The Treatment:

On the First and Second Day:

• The treated area may feel tight and slightly darker.
• The peel solution should remain on the skin for at least six hours.
• Avoid washing, touching, rubbing, or applying makeup during this time.
• If needed, apply The Perfect Derma Moisturizer with 1% hydrocortisone after six hours, especially if:
  • You experience excessive irritation.
  • You have darker skin, melasma, or hyperpigmentation.
  • booster was added to your peel (confirm with your provider)
• If there is no discomfort, the peel solution may be left on overnight.

During the Second Day:

• Gently wash and dry the treated area.
• Apply the first Post-Peel Towelette and let it dry for 30 minutes before applying SPF 30+.
• Makeup may be applied if desired.

On the Second Night:

• Before bedtime, gently wash and dry the treated area.
• Apply the second Post-Peel Towelette and leave it on overnight.
• If experiencing excessive irritation, apply The Perfect Derma Moisturizer 2-3 times daily.
• Use a cold compress if needed for relief.
• Avoid moisturizing products unless peeling has started (typically on Day 3)
• Refrain from excessive sweating, saunas, or heavy exercise.

On The Third To Sixth Days:

• Peeling generally begins on Day 3.
• Apply The Perfect Derma Moisturizer 2-3 times daily to manage peeling and tightness.
• Use the moisturizer for 1-2 weeks (lighter skin) or 2-3 weeks (darker skin).
• If moisturizer runs out, substitute with 1% hydrocortisone cream.
• Do not rub, pick, or pull peeling skin to prevent scarring.
• Gently cleanse the skin morning and night.
• Apply SPF 30+ every two hours during sun exposure.

On the Seventh Day & Beyond:

• Peeling should be complete, though mild sloughing may continue in some areas.
• Continue using SPF 30+ daily for skin protection.
